1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Prep two 9-inch loaf pans by greasing the bottom and sides with butter and then flouring.
3. Cream in a large bowl the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and mix thoroughly again.
4. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in small bowl.
5. Slowly add the flour mixture to the above ingredients.
6. Mix in sour cream, bananas, vanilla, and walnuts to the mix.
7. Pour into prepared pans. When pouring the mixture into the pan, the pan should be about ¾ full.
8. Bake 50 minutes or until golden brown.
9. Cool 10 minutes in the pan and then remove from pan and cool completely on a wire rack.

Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter
2 cup sugar
4 medium eggs
6 very ripe bananas
½ cup whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
4 cups flour (all-purpose)
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup walnuts coarsely chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Line loaf pans with tinfoil or parchment.
2. Spray tinfoil or parchment with nonstick cooking spray.
3. Melt butter and then combine it with the sugar. Whisk together until combined thoroughly.
4. Add eggs, milk, and vanilla. Whisk until completely combined.
5. Using a fork, mash bananas into the batter.
6. Add flour, baking soda, and salt to the batter making sure no more dry flour is visible.
7. Fold in the walnuts, if desired.
