Teriyaki and Worcestershire Beef Jerky 2

Ingredients

Beef Brisket
  • pagelines
    5 pounds (about 2300 g)
Wet Mixture
  • pagelines
    2 cups Soy Sauce
  • pagelines
    ½ cup Blackstrap Molasses
  • pagelines
    2 cups Teriyaki Sauce
  • pagelines
    2 cups Worcestershire Sauce
Dry Mixture
  • pagelines
    3 tbsp Onion Powder​​​​
  • pagelines
    tbsp Garlic Powder
  • pagelines
    3 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • pagelines
    3 tbsp Sesame Seeds, optional
  • pagelines
    1 tsp Cayenne Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Slice the beef brisket into ¼-inch pieces, Make sure to do it against the grain.

2. In a bowl, whisk together the wet mixture ingredients.
    In a small bowl, combine the dry mixture ingredients. Add the dry mixture to the bowl with the wet mixture and mix to combine.

3. Place the beef strips in a large Ziploc bag. Pour the marinade over. Shake the bag well to fully incorporate the ingredients and coat the beef. Place the bag in the fridge and let marinate for about 12 hours.

4. Place the beef strips onto the sheets of your dehydrator and dehydrate for about 8 hours on 70 C or 155 F degrees. You can also do this in the oven at 85 C or 180 F degrees for at least 8 hours. Enjoy!
